Ithaa Restaurant is the world’s first submarine restaurant, which goes 5m underneath ocean altitude at the Conrad Rangali Maldives Island resort (A luxury resort in the Maldives) in the Maldives. Opened in 2005, Ithaa (the name means “mother of pearl”) was one of the first submarine restaurants and the first to be made entirely of glass with a 360-degree panoramic view.
The Structure of Ithaa Restaurant
The complete 175-ton formation was constructed in the Republic of Singapore (Sovereign Island in Southeast Asia) just a few months before being ecstatic over by ship and ruin against the marine’s toughening legs. The visitors will experience a magnificent view while dining & watching thousands of fish swim around them at this submarine restuarant. Going to the restaurant lounge is phenomenal, an experience like sinking in a tropical version of Alice in Wonderland’s rabbit hole (lol). Ithaa – Submarine Restuarant is virtually a tiny transparent box, 9m length and 5m width can accommodate 14 diners at an instance. Just inches left through the glass, there are fish of several colors with various sizes. The dinners may watch turtles (Reptiles), stingrays (a group of sea rays), or even sharks.
