Munnar is a hill station located in the Idukki district, Kerala. As lying on the Western Ghats at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level, Munnar is popularly known as the “Kashmir of South India.” Located on the banks of 3 streams- Muthirappuzha (significant tributaries of the Periyar River), Nallathanni, and Periavaru. Munnar is fully packed with natural sites. Eravikulam National Park

Echo Point

Attukad Waterfalls

Tea Museum situated in the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea, around 2 km from Munnar, the KDHP Museum exhibits a diversity of artifacts. The most renowned being the entombment urn, which is dug from the region of Periakanal Estate, dates back to the second century AD.

Mattupetty Dam

Mattupetty Dam, located near the Anamudi peak, is at 1700 m in Munnar hills. Its lush green valleys and pleasant environment make it a beautiful picnic spot. Water sports like motorboats, paddleboats, and rowboats are operated here.
