Myanmar is a sovereign independent country in Southeast Asia holds many other countries in its border. It faced a lot of problems and violations during its early period. During the 1st century BC, the Pyu civilization arose from the Ayeyawady valley which made a high range of development over economic, social and culture. Myanmar history elaborates about the three golden periods. The First Myanmar Empire in Bagan was founded by King Anawrahta, who integrates the whole country from 1044AD to 1077AD. In the 13th century, Mongols invasions under Kublai Khan destroyed the Bagan Dynasty. Under the Toungoo Period from 1551 AD-1581 AD, the second Myanmar Empire was founded by King Bayint Naung where the 3rd Myanmar Empire is King Alaungpaya. During Konbaung Dynasty the British settled into Myanmar and it fully transformed into a British province Anglo-Myanmar wars in 1825, 1852 and 1885. From 1942 to 1945 it was under the control of the Japanese during the Second World War. After 123 years of British colonization, the Country became a “Sovereign Independent State” on Jan 4, 1948.
Ethnic Groups
The Bamar people are the ethnic people of Myanmar who are commonly called as Burmans. They are prominently live in Ayeyawady valley and speak the Burmese language. The other ethnic groups of are moken, shan, Karen, chin, rakhine, mon and kachin people.
Land
The total land area of is 676,575 km² of which it contains 3.06% of water. The Country was bordered by India, Bangladesh, China, Laos, Thailand, Andaman and Bay Of Bengal Sea. With Naypyidaw as its capital, it contains 14 states. Myanmar’s longest river is the Ayeyawady river which is nearly 2170 kilometers long. This country is also home to huge mountain ranges which form the river system.

The overall population of Myanmar in 2019 is 54 million. According to the UN Data, the population density of in 2019 is 82.7 people per square kilometer, the life expectancy at birth of male was 61.3 years and female are 68 years. The sex ratio is 93 males per 100 females.
Religion
Myanmar is said to be the land of Buddhism, where the majority of the population are the followers of Buddhism. Most prominently, more than half of its populations are Theravada Buddhists. Other religion is also followed in the country in low range.

Languages
The official language of Myanmar is Burmese which is a Sino-Tibetan language highly spoken by Bamar people. Myanmar is bonded with a hundred more languages which make its origin from Burmese script. These hundred more languages are expelled from six main language families namely Sino-Tibetan, Austro-Asiatic, Indo-European, Austronesian, Tai-Kadai, and Hmong-Mein. Some of the main spoken languages are Shan, Mon, Chin language, Karen language, and Kachin.
Economy
Myanmar is an economically backward country. The main impact of the country economy was the unavailability of educated and skilled persons in modern technology. Myanmar’s main agricultural produce is rice and is also highly involved in drug production. According to the World Bank Report, the GDP of Myanmar was 71.21 billion US dollars in 2018. The HDI value of 0.584 in 2018 represents medium human category development.
