To cancel a Lyft ride, Lyft provides free cancellation to all those are no longer needed the requested service. To Cancel the Lyft Ride, Open the Lyft App –> Go to “Edit Ride” in the left corner of the Ride screen and Choose “CANCEL RIDE.”

What about the Cancellation fee?
Lyft charges cancellation fees in certain conditions such as,
- The cancellation window has passed after a driver accepts your ride request.
- Your driver is on-time to arrive within 5 minutes of the original estimated arrival time.
Lyft charges a cancellation fee to compensate the drivers for their time and gas for your ride to pick you. Anyone can find the cancellation fee is marked on the ride receipt for the particular canceled ride. So, Check how much the cancellation fee is in the receipt. Mostly, a person canceling the Lyft ride for more than three rides in a 15-minute window will be charged around $2.
Note: For Lyft Shared rides, we may charge a Cancellation Fee after a driver accepts the request.

What is No-Show Fee in Lyft?
If you aren’t at the pickup location within one minute of your driver’s arrival, a rider will charge a no-Show fee. Additionally, there are some other reasons, such as Your driver waited a long time, but you didn’t show up, and Your driver attempted to reach you, but you didn’t contact him.
The no-Show fee receipt is marked on the ride receipt for the particular ride.
How to review a fee in Lyft
If you think you were wrongly charged a Cancellation Fee or No-Show Fee, create a dispute in the Lyft App, and the Team will review it and reach you with the best options to resolve the issue.
