Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto’s most holy temples among the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan. It is devoted to Inari, the god of rice. The shrine’s five marvelous temples lie at the bottom of the Inari Mountain.  Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine assembles solid confidence as a divine force of prosperous business and an abundant harvest.

The Temple is situated at south-eastern Kyoto about 2 miles south of Kyoto Station, Japan. The spectacular red pathway of Senbon Torii leads to the 764 ft (233 meters) peak of Mt. Inari-san is one of Kyoto’s most thrilling walks. The path is generally ascending and has lots of steps, so taking rest while going will assist you for the round trip. It is famous for its thousands of coral torii gates, which bestride a trails network behind its main buildings. You can see many fox statues across the shrine are building, are considered as Inari’s messengers.

Fushimi Inari Shrine Journey

You have to walk nearly 2-3 hours to reach the mountains’ height and back, though the visitors are allowed to walk as far as they wish. On their way, they can see a few littler hallowed places with heaps of little torii entryways given by guests with the little expense. There are additionally a few cafés that offer them dishes, for example, Inari Sushi (Inarizushi) and Kitsune Udon (Japanese noodle soup), both highlighting bits of aburaage (the most loved food of foxes).

    Beautiful place in Kyoto with lots of orange shrines . But you have to walk a lot. At the top, you can have an aerial view of city Kyoto. Best time to visit here is during early morning.
