Notre-Dame de Paris, the Expérience’ – an innovative exhibition detailing the cathedral’s 850-year history and reconstruction using physical scenography and augmented reality, opened at the France Pavilion today.
‘Histopads’ – cutting-edge tablet gadgets created by the French beginning up Histovery – will give guests a virtual and intuitive experience of chronicled occasions, such as the coronation of Emperor Napoleon I and the construction of the tower of Viollet-le-Duc. The Histopad’s advanced technology will likewise enable guests to comprehend the intricacy of the restoration work and the various trades associated with revamping the milestone building.
The experience, which opens just before France’s National Day festivities at Expo 2020 Dubai, is an antecedent to the much larger Notre-Dame de Paris’exhibition, which will occur in Paris at the Collège des Bernardins in spring 2022.
