Mount Kinabalu is the tallest peak (4,095 m ) between the Himalayas and the New Guinea, world’s second-largest island ; it is the most vibrant feature in Sabah. The mountain is a Holy motherland for the native Kadazan people, ethnic group in Malaysia ; the name is extracted from the term Akinabalu. That was previously famed as St. Peter’s Mount, the highest mountain in the Malay. The nature lover will be pleased to observe many kinds of flora and fauna on the mountain at different altitudes.
