Being ready to start on 1-October-202, Four extravagant Emirati artists from different generations are finalizing the artworks at the Expo 2020 site. Expo 2020 Dubai Public Art Programme showcases the arts from different parts of the world by leading artists alongside leading Emirati Artists.(Afra Al Dhaheri, Abdallah Al Saadi, Asma Belhamar and Shaikha Al Mazrou).
The Public Art Programme is curated by Tarek Abou El Fetouh and created in alignment with the arduous urban plans that will modify the Expo 2020 site into the future city of District 2020. The program is curated as a staging for contemporary art in the region, with 11 permanent abundant public artworks interwoven within its urban fabric and extending the possibility for many more artworks in the future.
