Emirates Park Zoo is located in Al Bahia, a 35 km drive from Abu Dhabi city. Emirates Park Zoo is home to 1500 animal species and 225 species of pets. Emirates Park Zoo was opened as a little feeding farm in 2008 and established into a zoo in 2012. Emirates Park Zoo is the best place for families with children where they get excited while seeing animals very closely. It also offers educational, fun activities and games for children. Emirates Park Zoo and Resort aim to create a human relationship with animals and the environment. It will motivate the children to preserve the environment and animal life from its young age. This park offers opportunities to feed the animals, and the individual food items are available inside at little cost.
Emirates Park Zoo contains a separate section for birds, wild animals, reptiles, and mammals. Here you can see Elephants, Giraffe, lions, tiger, Cheetah, Bear, Monkeys, deer, camels, zebra, snakes, colorful birds, and parrots where all of them are safely kept in cages or rooms. Dangerous animals are kept in places where you can see through the window, and some animals are in open space within the walls. Emirates Park Zoo is very clean, and the staffs are so kind and helpful. Here you can also take a horse ride and camel ride. Other than the entrance fee, there are also some Activity Pass Cards available at a low cost.
